Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a highly prominent top 50 firm of accountants based in the heart of the city of London that are now offering an ambitious accounting graduate an opportunity to join their highly successful business services department as an Accounts Associate.

Role Requirements -
Responsible for the preparation of year-end financial accounts for a diverse portfolio of mainly Limited Company clients
Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submission to the HMRC.
Preparation of monthly management accounts for clients.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of client deliverables.
Develop relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service to address their accounting needs and inquiries.
Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance accounting knowledge and skills

Person Requirements -
A graduate having achieved a 2:1 or above in an accounting and finance related degree
Ideally experience gained in practice either as part of work experience or an internship
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting profession.
