SEN Teaching Assistant - Learning Support Assistant - 1:1 - Primary - Special Needs - Sevenoaks, Kent

The School:
The school is based on in Sevenoaks and provides support for children in Year 5-13 who have a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges. This includes diagnosis such as Anxiety, Autism, Depression and Trauma. Many of the pupils who attend the school have a designated Education Heath Care Plan (EHCP), which details their specific needs in terms of care and support they will have access to.
The school provides a unique and specialist environment that meets the needs and challenges that the students face. The school offers a highly specialised curriculum, which aims to help all students reach their full potential.
The school has many additional therapies to support the children including speech and language, occupational therapy, psychotherapy, play therapy, and holistic massage therapy.
Summary of the SEN Teaching Assistant role:
*** 1:1 role supporting a Year 5 student
*** Supporting child with SEMH needs
*** Small class sizes
*** Specialist therapy rooms
*** You will be supported by class teachers and specialist therapists
*** Full-time Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm
*** Pay £85-£100 per day dependant on experience and qualifications
*** Long-term contract
