SEN Teaching Assistant | SEN Unit | £80-£100 Per Day | East London
Reeson Education is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialised SEN unit within a mainstream school in the borough of Waltham Forest, covering areas such as Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, and Chingford. Role Highlights for an SEN Teaching Assistant:
*Daily Rate: Competitive pay of £80-£100, dependent on experience.
*Work Schedule: Full-time positions available in supportive and well-resourced SEN units.
*Location: Excellent schools across East London, specifically in Waltham Forest.
Your Role as an SEN Teaching Assistant:
*Support pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and other learning difficulties, within a dedicated SEN unit.
*Work 1:1 or in small groups, tailoring your support to meet individual needs.
*Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and therapists to implement personalised education plans.
*Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that promotes learning and well-being.
What We’re Looking for in an SEN Teaching Assistant:
*Experience working with pupils with special educational needs, particularly in an SEN unit setting.
*A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
*Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, pupils, and families.
*Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2/3 in Childcare or SEN-specific training, are advantageous.
