Job Description:
What will I be doing?
In this position, you will help develop key renewable energy projects, serving as an advisor and ensuring the successful negotiation of lease agreements and site evaluations. You’ll be representing property owners, promoting sites for renewable energy development opportunities and working with colleagues on existing client portfolios. You’ll need to build and maintain strong client relationships whilst conducting policy analysis, preparing reports, and identifying new opportunities within your professional network. Additionally, you may have the chance to participate in the valuation of renewable energy assets.
Your personal professional status is important to our client, with the provision of training including a comprehensive Business Management Programme.
What do I need?
We’re looking for candidates with a solid understanding of the UK renewable energy sector, ideally with at least three years of relevant experience. Candidates in a related sector, such as Utilities and Infrastructure will also be considered. Being a Chartered Surveyor is not a prerequisite, but would be beneficial.
Proficiency in GIS and mapping tools, strong negotiation skills, and a proven ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders in the renewables sector, or a closely related sector, are essential. Experience creating Heads of Terms, and liaising with legal professionals in relation to this is important. Familiarity with rural land management would be advantageous, as would experience in project management and liaising with technical specialists. This role will involve national travel with the occasional requirement for staying away. A full UK driving license is essential.
Who for?
Our client is a leading name in the renewable energy consultancy space, committed to long-term partnerships and offering comprehensive and well-reasoned advice within the industry. This role presents significant career progression opportunities, supported by extensive training programs and the chance to engage in national committees. The salary and benefits package offered will reflect the seniority/experience of the candidate.
