Role Overview:
What you will be doing as an Audit Technical Manager
*Provide expert advice and support to audit and accounting teams on complex technical queries.
*Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards.
*Develop and review technical accounting papers and audit methodologies.
*Deliver technical training to internal teams, enhancing technical knowledge firm-wide.
*Liaise with clients on technical matters and complex accounting issues.
*Keep up-to-date with the latest accounting and auditing standards, providing insights to the team on new developments.
What you’ll need to succeed
*ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
*Strong background in audit or technical accounting, ideally within a professional services firm.
*Excellent knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.
*Proven ability to interpret and apply complex accounting standards and regulations.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for non-technical colleagues and clients.
*A proactive, problem-solving attitude and a keen eye for detail.
