We’re looking for a hardworking Accounts Assistant to join our small but bustling finance team in Dundee. This role is a fantastic chance to bring your skills to a dynamic workplace where your contributions will truly matter.
What’s the Role? As an Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting our finance team and company departments. Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
*Processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations for bank, cash, and credit card accounts.
*Preparing payroll and handling related tasks such as SSP/SMP calculations.
*Managing VAT returns and supporting month-end reporting.
*Responding to customer queries and liaising with suppliers.
*Assisting with audits and improving financial processes.
You’ll work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and teamwork are essential.
What We’re Looking For: We’re after someone who is:
*Experienced: Ideally 2-3 years in a similar role with strong all-round accounting knowledge.
*Organised and Proactive: You know how to prioritise, meet deadlines, and balance multiple tasks.
*Tech-Savvy: Proficient with MS Office, ERP, and CRM systems.
*Team-Oriented: A "can-do" attitude and great communication skills are essential.
