Salary/Rate: £48,000-£55,000

They are now looking to recruit a Laboratory Services Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities will include managing the laboratory and scientific services for the building. This will cover a number of clients within the premises as well as for the parent company. You will look to manage company clients in order to ensure they are fully satisfied and requirements are met across health and safety, equipment and facilities. You will look after the tissue culture room, analytical equipment and incubator spaces within the building. This will include maintenance of equipment and cleaning and decontamination of laboratories. Furthermore, you will look after a range of Laboratory Technicians and manage their objectives as well as training new and existing members of the team.
To be considered for the role you will have achieved a relevant degree in a scientific discipline (Biochemistry, Biomedical Science, Molecular Biology) and have experience in a laboratory management setting. You should have experience of managing other individuals and laboratory spaces. Furthermore you should hold a NEBOSH/ IOSH Managing Safely qualification and have experience in working to ISO9001, ISO13485, GMP and GLP. You should be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
