Job Description:
Elevation Accountancy and Finance are looking for a Management Accountant to join one of our fantastic clients in the Sheffield area on a full time, permanent basis.
Duties:
*Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
*Ability to prepare draft Management Accounts
*Reconciling and maintaining Fixed Asset Register
*Providing accurate reports to Group
*Posting and preparation of Payroll, Accruals and Prepayments
*Analysis of Budget v Actual
*Support in the preparation of VAT returns
*Analysis of KPI’s and Variances
*Reconciling Control Accounts
Experience:
*At least 3 years’ experience within a fast-paced finance function
*Studying towards a qualified accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
*Strong communication skills at all seniority levels
*Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
*Confident using IT software, especially Excel
*Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
