Our Client:
Nigel Wright are very pleased to be working closely with a well established specialist manufacturer to recruit into a new position of HSE Manager, to support significant business growth.
The opportunity:
Due to recent and continuous business growth the role of HSE Manager is a newly created position to lead the site in all aspects of HSE. The role will be responsible for leading a pro-active and sustainable HSE culture which supports the business in it’s onward strategies.
Key Objectives:
Health, Safety & Environmental Strategy/Leadership
Occupational Health & Wellbeing Initiatives
Compliance & Risk Management
Continuous Improvement & HSE Initiatives
About you:
We are looking to speak to candidates who demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
*Previous experience within an HSE Leadership role, within an industrial manufacturing environment
*Demonstrable ability to set and deliver a robust safety strategy, with a strong track record of raising standards
*Well developed communication skills and ability to influence and give confidence
*Hands-on approach, visible on the shop floor to ensure positive engagement
*Strong knowledge of ISO standards, including ability to implement, audit and manage
*Strong people management skills
