Nigel Wright is delighted to be working with a market leading engineering firm in recruiting a Financial Accountant. This Financial Accountant is a newly created role and will support the FC directly. The Role
The Financial Accountant duties will include:
*Manage all accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, WIP and Revenue Recognition.
*Working closely with project managers on project financial reviews.
*Project cost control and reporting.
*Support month-end and year-end close process.
*Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
*Manage and comply with legal reporting requirements and tax filings.
*Provision of information and support to external auditors.
*Maintain and strengthen internal controls.
*Additional duties as necessary

The Person
The requirements for the Financial Accountant role are:
*Fully qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA or equivalent
*Advanced Excel modelling skills.
*Experience of operating in multi-currency environments.
*Team player with good communication skills.
*Strong organisational ability.
*A results-driven individual
*Ambitious and keen to progress
