Behaviour Support Assistant Role
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
*Work 1:1 and with small groups to provide tailored behaviour support.
*Assist in managing challenging behaviours in the classroom and around the school.
*Build positive relationships with pupils to promote engagement and positive attitudes to learning.
*Support teaching staff in delivering lessons by maintaining a calm and productive classroom environment.
*Implement behaviour management strategies in line with the school’s policies.
*Act as a mentor to pupils, encouraging their social, emotional, and academic development.
Behaviour Support Assistant Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who:
*Has experience working with young people with challenging behaviours, ideally in a school setting.
*Is resilient, patient, and confident in managing challenging situations.
*Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to helping students succeed.
*Has a genuine passion for supporting young people to overcome challenges.
