Location: St. Albans
Start Date: September 2025
Position: Science Teacher
Contract Type: Perm
Key Stages: Teaching up to KS4, desirable if able to teach up to A Level
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our well-established secondary school in St Albans from September 2025. This is a Permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and dynamic Science lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4
*Desirable: Ability to teach A-Level Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
*Plan and prepare schemes of work, assessments, and lesson materials
*Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student achievement and development
*Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to deliver a high standard of education
Requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
*Strong subject knowledge in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)
*Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and 4
*Desirable: Experience teaching A-Level Science
*Passionate about inspiring young learners and promoting academic success
