Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Location:Dover
Job Type: Full time/permanent (Monday to Friday)
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Reports to: Finance Manager

We are delighted to be working with a highly successful, multi award winning organisation that has been trading for over 100 years, they are looking to appoint a Assistant Accountant to join their busy finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager you will play a vital role in supporting Directors and the team to ensure the smooth running of the finance function within the business.
Duties include:
*Support in the preparation and maintenance of the balance sheet reconciliations.
*Completion of bank reconciliations.
*Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
*Support Sales & Purchase Ledger.
*Produce inventory reports that will support analysis.
*Assist with audit documentation.
*Other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.
Skills/experience required:
*2 + Years’ experience working in a finance role
*AAT or ACCA/CIMA studlier looking to qualify within the next 2 years; desirable but not essential.
*Strong understanding of accounting practices.
*Excellent numerical and analytical skills
*Be highly organised and able to work to deadlines effectively.
