We are excited to be working alongside a secondary school based in Essex that is seeking a passionate and dedicated History/Humanities Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a full-time position,ideal for someone who is ready to inspire and engage students in the fascinating study of history.
Key Responsibilities:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality history lessons tailored to the secondary school curriculum.
*Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports student engagement and progress.
*Assess and monitor student achievement, providing constructive feedback to ensure improvement.
*Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum planning and school initiatives.
*Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold school policies.
Requirements:
*A degree in History or a related subject (teaching qualification preferred).
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is highly desirable.
*Proven experience teaching history to secondary school students.
*Strong communication and organizational skills.
*Must be available ASAP.
