We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a public sector education organisation for an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) professional to join the Financial Control team. The AP team plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.
Your new role
*Process, verify, and reconcile supplier invoices, credit notes, statements, expense claims, and purchase cards.
*Manage all aspects of the payment cycle efficiently and promptly.
*Ensure timely payments to suppliers as per agreed terms.
*Maintain precise records and ensure compliance with university policies.
*Communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
*Proactively identify and resolve issues.
What you’ll need to succeed
*Proven experience in a high-volume, service-oriented finance department.
*Strong understanding of financial procedures.
*Adequate financial numeracy skills.
*Excellent communication abilities.
*High attention to detail and accuracy.
*Proactive problem-solving skills.
