Job Description:
Graduate Teaching Assistant
Are you an aspiring teacher? Our client is a teacher training school, who can enrol successful Teaching Assistants on to their School’s Direct Teacher Training Programme.
*SEN Teaching assistant role
*£83-£95 per day, depending on experience
*Full-time, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4pm
*Term time only
*Bristol - BS5
*A fantastic platform for aspiring teachers to gain valuable experience in preparation for completing teacher training the following year.
About the role
*Working with primary aged children
*ASD (Autisum) or SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs) support
*There are SEN children within each class and your role will be to support their individual needs.
*Working 1:1 with SEN students
The right candidate
*Graduates - particularly those who have qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology
*A strong background in Maths and English
*Enthusiastic and passionate about making a different in the lives of children with special educational needs
*Resilient and confident to work with challenging behaviour
*Looking to pursue a long term career in the education sector
