Job Description:
Our Post Trade Regulatory Reporting Operations Change Team within the Corporate Operations Group in London is dedicated to supporting the implementation and remediation of Global Regulatory projects. We work closely with stakeholders globally to ensure Macquarie’s regulatory and operational risk management is robust and compliant with the latest regulatory requirements.

What role will you play?
As a Transaction Reporting Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering reform changes, strategic projects, and operational control improvements. You will gather and document business requirements, facilitate stakeholder workshops, and collaborate with Business, Compliance, Risk, Operations, vendors, and Technologists to design and implement compliant solutions. Your work will involve managing multiple initiatives concurrently, performing root cause investigations, and providing post-release support to the BAU team. This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
What you offer
• At least 5 years of experience within financial services as a Business Analyst covering derivative products and their trade lifecycle events, with knowledge of transaction regulatory reporting requirements, including MIFID, EMIR, SFTR, ASIC, and CFTC.
• Confidence in communicating and influencing stakeholders at various levels, with experience in delivery co-ordination managing multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in engaging, collaborating, and communicating with both business and technical peers across offices and time zones.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift, with a strong sense of ownership to follow deliverables through to closure.
• Excellent facilitation skills and the ability to bring structure to ambiguity, with experience working within an agile scrum team environment and towards hard deadlines.
• Experience working with messaging formats such as FPML, JSON, and XML is highly desirable.
