ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Service Associate you are responsible for residents’ satisfaction by providing an impeccable waste service and day-to-day upkeep of the bin store, ensuring the parcel room is free of cardboard and waste materials. Reporting directly to the Service Manager and working collaboratively with the Community Manager, you will ensure that residents have the best experience, and you will consistently deliver the highest levels of customer service. Here are some of the tasks you’ll carry out:
· Trained in the operation of waste processing equipment, Hardall bin chute tri-separator and cardboard compactor/baler.
· Work and interact with the associates, overseeing the collection, sorting and safe disposal of waste and recycling materials on site.
· Segregating waste, identifying and storage of recyclables, empty and refresh recycling/waste bins, regular checks on the condition of equipment.
· Ensure the development is always clean, clear and presentable whilst ensuring residents and associates are safe and secure.
· Attending to bin chute blockages.
· Performing routine maintenance on waste bin snap locks, wheels, and brakes.
· Cleaning of the bin storeroom, daily sweeping and jet washing when required.
· Assist with all tasks assigned by the Service Manager and work collaboratively to ensure the development is up to an exceptional standard.
· Ensure bin rotation is completed regularly to ensure no full bins are under the bin chute system.
· Reporting any incidents or issues to management
