We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant ( On a Fixed Term Contract ) to support our finance department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial operations, supporting both our internal team and external business clients.

Description
The accounts assistant (Fixed Term Contract) roles key responsibilities are as follows:
*Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, and ensure timely payments.
*Accounts Receivable: Generate invoices for clients, monitor accounts for overdue payments, and assist in debt recovery.
*Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate cash flow reporting.
*General Ledger Support: Assist in posting journal entries and maintaining accurate financial records.
*Data Management: Maintain and update financial records and ensure accuracy in accounting software.
*Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and provide input into financial reports.
*Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
Profile
The successful candidate for the accounts assistant role at a New Media & Internet will have experience in some of/all the above responsibilities.
