Job Description:
My client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role primarily involves managing complex employee relations (ER) cases within Children’s Services and Education, including schools. You will be part of a fast-paced environment, supported by a welcoming and collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
*Employee Relations Case Work: Handle complex ER cases, predominantly within Children’s Services and Education.
*Employment Law Knowledge: Provide up-to-date HR advice to staff and managers.
*Ad Hoc HR Duties: Provide support within a HR Business Partner capacity, for various HR tasks/projects as required.
As HR Business Partner, you will work autonomously, managing your own workload/diary. You will attend the office as required to meet service needs, with occasional travel to sites, with regular team office days every other Tuesday.
Requirements:
*Proven experience operating in a senior capacity in a HR function, managing complex ER cases to a high standard.
*Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
*The ability to adapt to a hybrid working model, with office attendance based on service requirements and casework needs.
*Up-to-date Employment Law Knowledge.
*Background: Local Authority (Desirable).
