The Opportunity:
Nigel Wright Group are exclusively leading the search for a Senior Business Development Manager for a leading North-East technology services business. Our client’s strategic plan is to growth their full cyber portfolio including consultancy and managed security services within the South of England. The Senior BDM is a client facing role and will be responsible for driving and executing the full sales cycle and is 100% net new logo focused. This is a remote role with travel around the South region plus regular visits to the North-East headquarters therefore access to the East Coast Main Line  would be advantageous.

Role Profile:
The role is client facing and will own, develop and execute all phases of the sales cycle; which includes identifying and qualifying opportunities, presenting solutions, commercial negotiations, order processing, and working with Presales colleagues to produce high level solution designs and quotes.

•    Grow profitable market share by executing the Cyber strategy in full alignment with the agreed plan.
•    Demonstrate thorough knowledge and understanding of the company’s cyber portfolio, business approach and ’thought leadership’ capability
•    Maximise networking and sales opportunity events to support lead generation and relationship development
•    Negotiate, drive and close sales opportunities in line with business targets
•    Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline utilising the CRM
•    Produce compelling proposals, coordinate tender responses including estimation with pre-sales and commercial departments
•    Drive sales for portfolio including new customer identification
•    Active participation in lead generation initiatives 

Person Specification:
•    5+ years’ experience of selling cyber security consultancy services and SOC managed services
•    Experienced new business hunter with a strong understanding of the marketplace, technologies and emerging trends in cyber
•    Experienced at presenting strategic solutions to C-Suite and credible at "C" level
•    Proven track record achieving sales targets
•    Experience creating, managing, negotiating, and closing contracts 
•    Excellent communication skills ranging from persuasive skills on a one-to-one basis to presentation skills to groups
•    Educated to degree level essential

Other information:
The role is remote and based in the south region of England with ability to commute to London and Newcastle/Durham
