Teaching Assistant for Children with Mental Health Needs - Bath

*£83-£95 per day, depending on experience
*Full-time, Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4pm
*Term time only
*Bath - BA2
*Ideal for Psychology/Counselling Graduates
A school that specialises in accommodating children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs are looking for Teaching Assistants to support children with behavioural and mental health issues.
*Working with SEN students aged 4 to 11 to support their wellbeing and personal development.
*Work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school
*Build frontline, practical experience with young people with significant SEMH needs
*Gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs such as Autism and ADHD.
The right candidate
*Graduates who have qualified in Psychology, Counselling or Criminology OR a good education background (GCSE’s in Maths and English) plus prior experience as a Teaching Assistant for children with mental health issues
*Enthusiastic and passionate about making a different in the lives of children with SEMH
*Resilient and confident to work with challenging behaviour
