Are you an experienced Payroll Officer looking for a new and exciting challenge in Wigan? In this role, you will take full responsibility for the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a diverse workforce.

Description
As A payroll Officer you will be responsible for:
*Accurate processing of company payroll on a monthly basis.
*Handling employee queries regarding payroll and related issues.
*Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and best practices.
*Assisting with end of year processes, including P60s.
*Reconciliation of payroll accounts to ensure accuracy.
*Maintenance and updating of payroll records.
*Production of payroll reports for management.
*Collaboration with HR and finance teams.
Profile
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:
*A strong understanding of payroll procedures and legislation.
*Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail.
*Proficiency with payroll systems and software.
*Good communication skills to handle employee queries.
*Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
*A pro-active approach to problem-solving.
