VP Senior Java Software (individual contributor) - Investment Bank Trading Systems - 100% Greenfield

Rare opportunity to join at the early stages of a multi-year programme where you will have direct input in the design of a complex trading platform for this globally renowned Investment Bank.
Technical stack: Java, Spring, Apache Flink, Apache Kafka, Apache Ignite, Angular, and Kubernetes.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
*Extensive experience in complex software development with specialisation in messaging middleware, databases (Oracle, Flink, Ignite, Kafka), or Kubernetes.
*Deep server-side knowledge and understanding of streaming architectures.
*Experience with SDLC automation tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
*Strong technical skills and advocacy for test-driven development and delivery automation.
*Experience working in a global team, aiding others through pair programming and knowledge sharing.
*Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with a can-do attitude and ability to partner with diverse stakeholders.
*Ability to collaborate with business, operations, developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to shape the future platform.
Ideal candidates for this role will have 8+ years experience predominently spent within an investment banking environment and will likely be in the early years of VP level role.
