The Role As an HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the school and ensuring students receive the best educational experience. Your key responsibilities will include:
*Timetable Coordination: Organising and managing timetables for teaching assistants to ensure effective classroom support.
*Lesson Cover: Delivering pre-planned lessons during teacher absences, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.
*Student Support: Working closely with students with learning difficulties, providing tailored interventions to help them achieve their full potential.
*Collaboration: Liaising with teachers, SEN staff, and other colleagues to support the school’s inclusive ethos.
*Leadership: Mentoring and supporting teaching assistants to deliver high-quality assistance in the classroom.
About You We are looking for a confident and skilled HLTA who:
*Holds a Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
*Has experience working in a school environment, ideally supporting students with learning difficulties.
*Can confidently deliver lessons and manage classrooms in a teacher’s absence.
*Is highly organised and able to manage timetables and schedules effectively.
*Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
