Accounts Payable / Accounts Assistant | £13.00-£14.50/hr | Bridgewater/Hybrid
We are seeking a proactive and driven Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a leading UK business in their field. The Role:
*Manage and reconcile the purchase ledger, ensuring accuracy.
*Resolve discrepancies in payment proposals and process urgent invoices.
*Request missing invoices and manually allocate payments.
*Review and adjust intercompany balance statements.
*Assist with bank reconciliations and support the production of financial accounts.
You must have...
*Proficient in Sage and experienced with other accounting software.
*Exceptional customer service and phone support skills.
*Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
*Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
*Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently.
*Experience in Purchase Ledger or a similar finance role.
