Job Description:
Demand Planning Executive
*Location: Gloucester (Hybrid - 3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
*Job Type: Full-time
*Salary: 25K, + 2K after probation
We are seeking a Demand Planning Executive to join a dynamic team within the Drinks Division of a leading FMCG company. This role is crucial for managing the demand side of the Integrated Business Planning process, ensuring accurate future demand forecasts. The successful candidate will be a pivotal link between various departments including sales, marketing, commercial, finance, and supply/operations.
Responsibilities:
*Generate and update a rolling 12-15 month statistical forecast monthly, ensuring accuracy by reviewing all products/customers according to priority.
*Incorporate inputs from marketing, sales, and finance into the forecast to reflect comprehensive market intelligence and promotional activities.
*Lead the Business Unit Demand Review and Divisional Demand Review meetings, providing essential inputs and ensuring all constraints from previous cycles are communicated.
*Update forecasts as necessary following demand review meetings and approve promotional activities based on volume-related elements.
*Work closely with the sales team to manage risks and opportunities at the customer level, ensuring a clear division-wide view.
*Measure and monitor core KPIs, creating action plans for consistent over/underperformance and providing root cause analysis for forecast inaccuracies.
*Assist the sales team in adjusting forecasts based on the latest insights, ensuring exceptional increases or decreases are accurately submitted.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Graduates preferred; however, relevant experience will also be considered.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data across multiple brands and sales channels.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with all organisational levels.
*Understanding of Supply Chain and Commercial principles is advantageous.
*Exceptional attention to detail.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
*Sound judgement in prioritisation and decision-making.
