We are seeking a talented BI Datawarehouse Developer & Reporting Engineer to join our client’s dynamic IT team and play a key role in ensuring the security and reliability of their critical data. *Engage with key business stakeholders and manage data and reporting requirements throughout the design and development process.
*Play a pivotal role in maintaining the security and reliability of critical data, ensuring that the organization’s operations remain uninterrupted.
Essential skills and experiences include:
*Excellent, proven experience in data modelling and development on big data platforms using concepts such as Data Lakes, PL/SQL databases, Amazon S3, external files, and Apache Parquet format.
*Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL
*Design data warehouse solutions using Kimball and Inmon methodologies, including dimensions, measures, and slowly changing dimensions (SCD).
*Understanding data ingestion and transformation techniques using SQL.
*Strong technical understanding of performance tuning.
*Knowledgeable in data quality, data governance, and data security
*Proficiency in Python, Spark, machine learning and REST APIs is desirable
*Familiarity with using raw and transformed data in Power BI or similar reporting tools is desirable
