The Role
Are you a dynamic Buyer with a passion for strategic procurement? Join a leading automotive business and play a key role in managing supplier performance, driving cost efficiencies, and supporting business growth!
*Monitor and report supplier performance
*Support procurement strategies for direct & indirect commodities
*Negotiate and manage supplier contracts
*Deliver and exceed targets set through clear objectives that link to the overall business and functional strategy
*Work closely with global suppliers, including China
*Ensure compliance with best practices & health/safety standards
The Person
*Automotive sector experience in purchasing & project management
*Expertise in a manufacturing engineering based environment will be essential
*Strong supplier relationship management skills
*MCIPS qualified (or working towards it)
