Managed Service Support Engineer
?? Dublin | Hybrid (3 Days On-Site, 2 Days WFH)
?? €35,000 | 24 Days Annual Leave | Pension | Laptop & Phone
Are you an experienced IT professional looking to grow your career in a dynamic Managed Services environment? We’re hiring a Managed Service Support Engineer to help optimise and enhance our customers’ IT systems, working both remotely and on-site in Dublin.
Responsibilities
?? Alerts Management: Take primary responsibility for handling tickets in the Alerts queue
?? Continuous Improvement: Work with the Managed Services team to refine processes and reduce ticket volume
?? Root Cause Analysis: Identify and address recurring alerts to improve system stability
?? Customer Compliance: Review and report on updates, antivirus, vulnerability scans, and SOC coverage
?? Onboarding & Deployment: Support agent deployment and customer projects
?? System Maintenance: Research and develop repeatable software maintenance solutions
?? Firewall Configuration: Implement and manage firewall changes for security and toolset optimization
?? Client Engagement: Work closely with customers during onboarding and rollout projects
Requirements
? 2+ years’ experience in an MSP Support Centre role or similar
? Self-starter mindset, with a drive for efficiency and process improvement
? Knowledge of Datto RMM and alerts queue management (essential)
? Firewall configuration experience
