Cover Supervisor Location: Salford, M6 Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (Full-Time 8:30am - 3pm)Salary: £95 - £120 Per day Job Duties of a Cover Supervisor:
*Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher
*Ensure students are on task and adhere to school policies
*Assist with the implementation of lesson plans provided by the teacher
*Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
*Manage student behaviour and resolve conflicts when necessary
*Report back to the teacher on student progress and any issues that arise
Required Qualifications:
*GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
*Experience working with children or young people
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Experience:
*Prior experience in a school setting is desirable but not essential
*Prior experience working as a Cover Supervisor is desirable but not essential 
Knowledge and Skills:
*Understanding of classroom management techniques
*Ability to engage and motivate students
*Basic knowledge of educational principles
Working Conditions:
*Work hours typically follow the school day schedule
*May require standing or walking for extended periods
*Potential exposure to classroom noise and student behaviour
