Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm
Salary: £140 - £200 Per day
Expected start date: April 2025
Value Education are working with an exceptional secondary school in the Oldham area that are looking for an experienced Teacher of Maths.
This is a long-term position starting after the Easter holidays, with the right candidate having the opportunity to go onto a permanent contract.
Teacher of Maths Job Duties:
*Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students
*Plan and prepare lesson materials in line with the curriculum
*Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
*Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance
*Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
*Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Teacher of Maths requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Degree in Mathematics or related field
*Prior experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level
*Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics
*Excellent classroom management skills
*Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
*Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
