Our client seeks Platform Engineer with specific bias towards either services, applications, compute and storage, databases, dev tools, observability, schedulers and orchestrators, and middleware.
They ideally seek on-prem Linux systems skills combined with a good understanding of some cloud based high-performance infrastructure. As part of the System Engineering team, you work on building and supporting scalable, reliable, and performant systems.
Some of the experience you might have:
*Linux systems and platform engineering (on-prem)
*Hardware optimisation, network and storage performance
*DevOps tooling - Terraform/Ansible, CI/CD, Gitlab, Jenkins, Salt, Chef, Git
*Kubernetes
*Databases - PostgreSQL, Clickhouse, FoundationDB
*Observability - VictoriaMetrcics, Prometheus, Vector, ELK
*Slurm
*Solarflare, Mellanox
*Python skills/scripting languages
*Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a technical or computer science discipline
