Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage client and office accounts, ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules.
*Process payments, receipts, and transfers efficiently.
*Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
*Prepare and submit VAT returns.
*Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
*Liaise with clients and colleagues to resolve financial queries.
*Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar finance role within a law firm.
*Strong knowledge of SRA rules and regulations.
*Proficiency in legal accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
