As a Senior Property Lawyer, you will oversee a caseload of 50 files, expertly guiding your clients through the entire conveyancing process from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:
*Full Conveyancing Process: Manage everything from client instructions to completion, including drafting contracts, submitting legal documents.
*Pre-Completion: Conduct Land Registry and conveyancing searches, ensuring all paperwork and funds are ready for exchange.
*Post-Completion: Close files, submit SDLT returns, and manage Land Registry applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance every step of the way.
*Client & Third-Party Communication: Build strong relationships with clients, third parties, and colleagues to ensure the smooth progress of matters.
Why You’ll Love This Role:
*Social Event and Team activities - opportunity to partake in and organising various firm funded social activities.
*Multiple Bonus Schemes - as well as various rewards and incentives programmes.
*Career Growth: Onsite, full time dedicated training team delivering classroom based learning and bespoke training packages dependent upon your role.
*Collaborative Environment: We work in a pod structure which includes a conveyancer without a caseload as a point of reference and support.
*Property Discounts: Available on Mortgage Services, Surveying, Estate Agency and Conveyancing transactions from the Group Employee Benefits scheme.
What We’re Looking For:
*Experience: You’ll have proven experience in fee-earning and managing a caseload in conveyancing.
*Qualifications: While a Law Degree, LPC, or qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive (FCILEX) is preferred, it’s not essential.
*Strong Communicator: You’ll excel at managing client relationships and communication, keeping everything organised and ensuring compliance throughout.
*Professional Drive: A proactive, detail-oriented individual who can handle a busy caseload while maintaining high standards.
