Trainee Mechanical Design Engineer
Job Description
*Design Functional Solutions: Solve engineering problems with innovative, practical designs.
*Full Design Lifecycle: Manage designs from initial concept and detailed specification through to the final working packs for the build team.
*Technical Drawings: Create accurate part and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
*Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards, including UKCA, CE, and Machinery Directive requirements.
*Mechanical Specifications: Develop comprehensive mechanical specifications for production equipment.

Trainee Mechanical Design Engineer
Essential Skills & Experience:
*Practical experience or strong knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes.
*Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software, particularly AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
*Understanding of traditional manufacturing processes like milling, turning, grinding, and fabrication.
*NVQ/HND/BTEC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
