Education Autism Specialist *Location: Barnsley
*Job Type: Part-time & Full-time

As we prepare for the new term, we are looking for passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to a learning environment that is both nurturing and dynamic.
Day-to-Day of the Role: *Develop and implement individualised educational programmes tailored to the unique needs of each child with autism.
*Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, educational psychologists, and other SEN professionals to enhance student support.
*Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest educational strategies and tools for supporting children with autism.
*Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupils to engage and progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications: *Proven experience in an SEN setting, with a strong focus on autism.
*A robust understanding of the challenges and rewards of working with children with special educational needs.
*Confidence and commitment to go above and beyond in supporting educational and emotional development.
*Must possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo a new check.
