INTERNAL SALES ROLE
Job Title: Internal Sales Executive
Location: Southampton Branch, United Kingdom
Term: Permanent | Full-time
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Position Overview:
WOrking for a rapidly expanding electrical distributor based near Southampton. The sales team Is expanding and seeking an enthusiastic, skilled Internal sales individual. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional pre & post-sales support to our customers, with a primary focus on their core manufacturers. The ideal candidate will have a background in the electrical, automation, and industrial industries, along with robust sales skills and a drive to secure deals with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support: Assist during customer engagements, solution proposals, and product specifications.
Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve issues that customers may have with a product/service solution utilizing the company’s portfolio of manufacturers.
Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing queries related to products and applications.
Training and Knowledge Sharing: Attend training sessions with our manufacturers in person & online workshops, to keep skillset up to date with current technologies.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales team, external sales, procurement, and marketing to provide tailored solutions for customers.
Performance: Ensure KPIs are met or exceeded and maintain a proactive and prompt response time to customers.
Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Industrial Electrical Industry with proven experience in B2B sales.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a self-motivated prompt approach.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office programs & CRM programs.
Relevant education and certifications (desired but not essential).
What We Offer:
£28,000 - £32,000 basic salary with 1/4ly profit share based on branch revenue target achievement.
No weekend working requirement.
20 days holiday + Bank holidays (England).
