Conveyancing Assistant
Location: Huddersfield
Salary: From £26,000+
About the Firm/Role:
A highly regarded regional law firm is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their successful Residential Property team in Huddersfield. The firm has a strong reputation for delivering excellent client care and quality legal services, acting for a broad mix of clients across the local community and beyond.
As a Conveyancing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting fee earners with a busy caseload of residential property transactions. You’ll be involved in all aspects of the conveyancing process, from instruction through to post-completion, ensuring matters progress smoothly and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancing professional to join a supportive and friendly team, where your contribution will be highly valued and your career development encouraged.
About You:
*Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant or Legal Secretary in a residential property department
*Strong knowledge of the conveyancing process, including sales, purchases, freehold, leasehold, and remortgages
*Excellent organisational and administrative skills, with strong attention to detail
*Confident in liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
*Proficient in using case management systems and MS Office
*A proactive team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
