Science Teacher
Newham
Full Time
Starting January 2026
Prospero Teaching are looking for a Science Teacher to start immediately on a full time basis. This is to work in a mainstream secondary school in the Borough of Newham.
About the school and contract:
*You will be focusing on teaching KS3 and 4 students.
*You will have LSAs to support you.
*Coeducational school with about 300 students per year
*Ofsted rated ’Good’ school
About the successful Science Teacher:
*Previous experience teaching Science to KS3 and 4 students
*Hold a relevant related degree.
*You should ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent.
*You will have excellent classroom and behaviour management.
*You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional references
