Job Description:
We’re working with a highly respected and forward-thinking Wealth Management firm offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner to join their established team in Cambridge.
This firm takes pride in delivering exceptional client outcomes through a collaborative approach to financial planning, supported by cutting-edge technology and a strong culture of professional development.
You’ll be joining a growing Paraplanning Centre of Excellence, working closely with experienced Financial Planners and Client Executives to deliver bespoke, compliant, and high-quality advice to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities*Produce detailed and compliant suitability reports and recommendation letters
*Conduct research and analysis to identify appropriate financial planning solutions
*Perform cashflow modelling and prepare tax calculations where required
*Liaise with providers and third parties to obtain investment and policy information
*Support client review meetings and maintain accurate, compliant client files
*Ensure adherence to FCA principles, compliance standards, and internal processes
*Collaborate and share best practice with colleagues, including peer reviews and technical support
About You*Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum)
*Proven experience as a Paraplanner within Financial Services
*Strong technical knowledge across investments, pensions, and protection
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Methodical, detail-oriented, and highly organised approach to workload
*Confident using Microsoft Office (advanced Word/Excel) and provider platforms
*Passionate about personal development, with ambitions to progress toward Advanced Diploma or Chartered Status
The Benefits*Salary: Up to £47,000 (with potential to £50,000 for exceptional candidates)
