A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, who has access to iconic projects mostly all within Central London, as seeking a Principal Designer (CDM) to aid their prestigious clients with Design Risk Management. You have a very hands-on approach within the Design Stage, ensuring CDM risks are mitigated as effectively as possible.
You will work on memorable projects, with a social team and receive career progression that will be very hard to find elsewhere. Due to their established and intelligent team, you will be able to collaborate effectively as you navigate complex Principal Design (CDM) and Client Advisory projects.
The Senior CDM Principal Designer’s role
You’ll work directly with clients and design teams to deliver Principal Designer duties, managing project risk registers, chairing Design team meetings, and producing high-quality pre-construction information. This job role is extremley hands-on within the Design Stage.
The Senior CDM Principal Designer
*At least 5 years of experience in a CDM role (essential)
*NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
*APS or IOSH membership (essential)
*Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Surveying (preferred)
*Strong technical understanding of CDM 2015 and Design Safety Principles
*Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills
