Method Resourcing are partnering with a fast-growing scale-up B2C organisation that are in need of a hands-on DevSecops Engineer to support with improving their internal processes and how tey design and shop software securely from a platform and CI Perspective.
The successful candidate will have experience with:
*AWS - serverless ideally (not just on K8’s)
*Terraform
*Any kind of programming language - The client hasn’t picked a language for the team
*Github actions
*Event driven architecture - security specifically and disaster recovery
*Designing resilience systems
*General interest in security
*Ideally worked in start up environments - if larger, be very self-sufficient and able to work within the grey
Core focus for this contract:
*Improve devsecops process
*Improve how they design and ship software securely from a platform and CI perspective
*Very focused on the software
*Designing pipelines
*Looking at how they shift security left
*Pipelines scanning code properly
*Manage permissions in AWS
Contract:
*Outside IR35
*6 month contract initially
*Remote contract, although has to be based in UK
*£500 per day
*Start asap
