About the Role
We are seeking a Warranty Test Technician to join a dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong diagnostic skills and hands-on experience in mechanical, hydraulic, or electromechanical systems. You will be responsible for testing, fault analysis, and root cause investigations on returned components, ensuring product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
*Inspect and test returned units against OEM specifications to identify faults.
*Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventative actions.
*Prepare technical reports and present findings to management.
*Support continuous improvement projects and special engineering initiatives.
*Maintain calibration systems and ensure equipment compliance.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce warranty claims and improve build quality.
Essential Skills & Experience
*Knowledge of fuel systems, hydraulic systems, or electromechanical components (preferred).
*Experience using diagnostic tools, machinery, and hand tools for measurement and analysis.
*Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and solve technical problems.
*Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical findings clearly.
*Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
*Relevant technical qualifications such as BTEC, NVQ Level 2, or equivalent.
