Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Assistant Team Manager to join their Fostering Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Support the Team Manager in leading the fostering team.
*Supervise and guide social workers to ensure high-quality practice.
*Promote safeguarding and compliance with fostering regulations.
*Oversee foster carer assessments, reviews, and support.
*Contribute to service development and policy implementation.
*Ensure effective case management and placement stability.
*Liaise with multi-agency partners and manage safeguarding concerns.
*Provide reflective supervision and performance oversight.
*Encourage continuous learning and evidence-informed practice.
*Deputise for the Team Manager when required.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 year’s experience working as a Qualified social worker
