Full/Part-time: Full-time
Salary: M1 - UPS3
About the Role/School We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Class Teacher to join a vibrant school community in Maida Vale. This role offers full classroom responsibility for a Nursery Class during morning sessions, with afternoon duties covering lessons in Reception. Our school prides itself on providing a nurturing, creative, and inspiring environment for both staff and pupils, ensuring the highest standards in early years education.
Job Responsibilities As an EYFS Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and managing a Nursery Class during morning sessions.
* Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons for Nursery pupils.
* Covering Reception lessons during the afternoons to support colleagues and ensure continuity of learning.
* Promoting positive behaviour and a safe learning environment.
* Collaborating with staff, parents, and leadership to support pupils’ development.
* Participating in school events and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications/Experience To succeed as an EYFS Class Teacher, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in early years settings.
* Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.
* Right to work in the UK.
