Physics Teacher*Job Type: Temporary (Immediate start)
*Location: Surrey
*Pay Rate: £275 per day
We urgently require a Physics Teacher to cover a staff absence, with an appointment ideally to be made by Wednesday. This role is ideal for candidates with a robust understanding of Physics and experience in teaching A Level Physics, preferably following the OCR specification.
Day-to-day of the role:*Teach both practical and theoretical aspects of Physics.
*Engage with large class sizes in a supportive and high-performing school environment.
*Utilize a solid scheme of work with comprehensive resources provided.
*Maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
Schedule:*Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:25 AM – 1:00 PM
*Wednesday: 9:25 AM – 3:10 PM (occasionally until 3:00 PM)
Required Skills & Qualifications:*Strong subject knowledge in Physics.
*Experience teaching A Level Physics, ideally following the OCR specification.
*A degree in Physics, Maths, or Engineering.
*Teaching qualification: PGCE, QTS, or QTLS.
*Desirable: Experience beyond A Level (e.g., Oxbridge preparation, Physics Olympiad coaching), familiarity with subject-based assessments in Maths/Physics.
