As the Night Shift Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role within the 24/7 operations team. You’ll be the key connection between the night and day shifts — ensuring seamless communication, smooth planning, and on-time service delivery. Oversee and execute the nightly transport plan.Communicating effectively with drivers, customers, and international service partners.
Main Responsibilities*Plan and coordinate night transport operations efficiently.
*Liaise directly with drivers, customers, and service partners in the UK and EU.
*Monitor progress and make real-time adjustments to ensure service excellence.
*Maintain strong communication across shifts for smooth handovers.
*Uphold compliance with driver legislation and operational procedures.
Key Requirements*Minimum 2 years’ experience in Transport Planning.
*Minimum 1 year experience with EU–UK Customs and ETSF procedures.
*Experience managing air cargo and HGV drivers (2 years preferred).
*Strong communication and organisational skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
*Confident working under pressure and handling change.
*Proficient with Microsoft Office and transport management systems.
*Sound understanding of UK and Continental European geography.
