Job Title: Audit & Accounts Senior
Location: Ingatestone, Essex
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the Role: We are seeking a confident and capable Audit & Accounts Senior to join our growing team. You will be responsible for leading audits, preparing accounts, and providing advisory support to a range of owner-managed businesses and SMEs.
Key Responsibilities:
*Planning and leading statutory audits from start to finish
*Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
*Supervising and mentoring junior staff
*Liaising directly with clients and acting as a trusted advisor
*Supporting partners with business development and strategic planning
Requirements:
*ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
*A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an audit role, preferably within a practice environment.
*Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
*Proficient in using audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
