Job Description:
Elevations Design & Projects team are working exclusively with a globally recognised manufacturing business based in South Yorkshire, supporting their search for a Product Development Manager to lead the strategy, development, and commercial growth of world-leading products used across multiple industries.

This is a senior, high-visibility position where you’ll bridge the gap between engineering, manufacturing, and commercial strategy, driving new product development and market expansion on a global scale.
As Product Development Manager, you will: * Define and deliver a global product and innovation strategy that fuels business growth.
* Lead and inspire a small team of R&D and product management professionals.
* Identify new market opportunities and applications for high-performance materials.
* Partner with global customer solution centres and key customers to solve complex engineering challenges.
* Translate innovation into commercial success, from concept to launch.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, sales, and marketing to ensure world-class delivery and performance.
* Drive continuous improvement in product cost, performance, and market positioning.
We are looking for a Product Development Manager with: * Degree-qualified in Engineering (or related discipline).
* Preferably 10+ years’ experience in product management, innovation, or business development within a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience leading technical and commercial projects end-to-end.
* Strong understanding of R&D processes, materials technology, and or any experience in highly regulated sectors
* Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence across global teams.
